This campground is a wonderful spot to visit. Echo Canyon State Park is worth checking out if you're at Pigeon Flat Campground, and there are some pleasant whitewater
spots on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Take a hike on the Silver King Trail, and a great spot like Pidgeon Flat here at Pigeon Flat Campground is too nice to miss.
Summertime at Pigeon Flat Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 60's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Pigeon Flat Campground dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
