Peppermint Campground, Southern Sierra Nevada, California   Spent 3 nights at the pepermint campsite, very primitive great hike along the river that goes through camp. Good hiking is available along the Old Sled Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Brush Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. This location, the Southern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. There is a wonderful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Peppermint Campground called     the Summit Trail, and a pretty lake like Ida Lake is a pleasant location to explore. Peppermint Campground is positioned in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Places like Kramer Meadow are great to explore; get yourself into a kayak and hit Dry Meadow Creek. The yearly rainfall here at Peppermint Campground is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Near Peppermint Campground you come across the Tobias Creek Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail; everybody nearby loves skiing at Shirley Meadow. As long as you like the outdoors you will like California. This campground is always a diversion. Going for a hike on the Black Mountain Trail is always a great adventure; you'll meet a lot of people from Camp Nelson here. The great variety of local   attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Summertime highs at Peppermint Campground regularly tend to be in the 90's; the night is fairly chillier of course, typically in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 50's, and night lows at Peppermint Campground during the wintertime ordinarily descend into the 30's. Hey, it's been too much time since you went outside, time to go camping; Peppermint Campground in California is exactly the spot. Peppermint Campground is esteemed by folks in Camp Nelson.
