On a splendid day at Peppermint Campground you can take     a hike along the Bull Run Cattle Drive; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Dry Meadow Creek. There is a good hiking trail near Peppermint Campground called the Old Sled Trail, and this is a popular place for folks from Camp Nelson. At Peppermint Campground exciting stuff to do is bountiful, and what a nice site for camping it is. This campground has everything. Don’t forget to visit Kramer Meadow if you're here at Peppermint Campground; great skiing awaits you at Shirley Meadow. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is abundant here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike along the Summit Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kern River. While you're here at Peppermint Campground you can take a hike along the Tobias Creek Trail; get dripping wet paddling on Brush Creek. As long as you fancy the outdoors you will fancy California.
