This is in fact a brilliant campground. Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is a tremendous place to go if you're at Pelon Campground; why
not take a refreshing hike along the Hot Springs Trail. It's just not possible to get bored in California if you go for the outdoors. Through the summertime here at Pelon Campground, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge
down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Pelon Campground.
