Pelon Campground, Santa Lucia Range, California   Pelon Campground is located in the Santa Lucia Range. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Santa Lucia Range. The warmest time of the year at Pelon Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's, and overnight lows at Pelon Campground throughout the wintertime typically dip into the 40's. You just have to go for Pelon Campground. Julia Pfeiffer Burns State   Park is worth checking out if you're at Pelon Campground, and don't leave Pelon Campground without first going for a hike along the Marble Peak Trail. The great local attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation will unquestionably have you coming back repeatedly. California has such a large number of things to offer nature lovers. This campground is always a diversion. Some nearby water includes Tan Oak Creek, and you'll meet a lot of people from Big Sur here. Pelon Campground is a top choice with people from Big Sur. A nice site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Pelon Campground is Arroyo Seco River; there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the South Fork Trail.
