Cedar Canyon is a great spot to go to next to Peavine Campground. Be careful coming to Peavine Campground, you might not ever wanna go home again. Peavine Campground is right by the Baldy Trail, and here at Peavine Campground you can make out Inspiration Point.

Peavine Campground is an old favorite with the people in Valyermo. There's splendid hiking along the Allison Trail, and Angeles National Forest is a great
site to stretch your legs a bit.
It's just not possible to run out of amusing stuff to do near Peavine Campground; spending time at this campground is very enjoyable. A visit to California is not complete without some camping.
