Throughout the warm months at Peavine Campground temperatures are typically in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Peavine Campground sink into the 30's. Saddleback Butte State Park is a splendid site to go if you're at Peavine Campground, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Allison Trail.

Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more amusing things to do here in the San Gabriel Mountains. Don't leave Peavine Campground without popping by Angeles National Forest, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Heaton Flat Trail. This campground is so
tremendous. If you would like a little side visit, try Cedar Canyon, obviously you could also pop by Jackson Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Peavine Campground. On a great day at Peavine Campground
you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 7; Inspiration Point is pretty and can be seen from here. From a rainfall point of view Peavine Campground is a relatively common place; of all the months in a year February is the one with the most rain; the driest month
of the year is July.
This campground has so many amusing things to offer. While you're here at Peavine Campground you can take a hike along the Dawson Peak Trail. There are so many fun things close to Peavine Campground, and campgrounds like these are good.
