So much cool stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. If you come at the right time of year, San Joaquin River - South Fork offers some fine whitewater.
Around Palisade Campground you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is June.
