Going for a hike on the Chaos Crags Trail is always a delightful adventure,
and McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park is a good location to stop at on a pretty day. Old Station Campground is a good spot of normal rain; during the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is July.
