Lassen Volcanic National Park is a wonderful local destination here at Old Station Campground, and going for a hike along the Chaos Crags Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this   neighborhood. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Southern Cascade Range. Pit River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Childs Meadows Trail. All the brilliant local attractions around here and such a brilliant variety of outdoors recreation are glorious incentives to come. Through the summer here at Old Station Campground, high temperatures generally reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Old Station Campground. California has lots of outdoors activities. Old Station Campground is located in a vicinity with lots of amusing stuff to do, and it's one of those locations where everything is tremendous.
