Old Cow Creek Campground, Southern Cascade Range, California

  Old Cow Creek Campground is a quite wet place frequently with a lot of precipitation; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is ordinarily the driest month. This campground has so many exciting things to offer. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pit River, and if you're here, you could take a look at West Hunt Creek. Such a great pick of attractions and all the outdoors recreation are glorious incentives to come.

If you come to this campground, you will have a great time for sure. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Old Cow Creek Campground; Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail is a perfect local trail. If you are in California throughout camping season, you must go camping. As if Old Cow Creek Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's impossible to get bored.
There's whitewater on Pit River for all you adrenaline kick people, and the Chaos Crags Trail offers hiking at its best.

to run out of cool things to do next to Old Cow Creek Campground; it's one of those places where everything is fine. During the summer at Old Cow Creek Campground temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Old Cow Creek Campground fall into the 10's. There's good hiking along the Bunchgrass Trail, and you can run the rapids of Battle Creek - South Fork.
Be careful coming to the Southern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. A glorious view of striking Cutter Butte is available from Old Cow Creek Campground, and a great location like Dan Hunt Meadows here at Old Cow Creek Campground is too nice to miss. Yeah, come up here to the Southern Cascade Range for a fine time. Butcher Gulch is a wonderful place to explore, and Lassen National Forest is a wonderful place to go.
This camp ground is one of the great locations to camp here in the Southern Cascade Range.
