Oak Flat Campground is in close proximity to Horsepasture Gulch which is unquestionably worth taking a look at, and going for a hike on the Crooked Tree Trail is always a glorious adventure. Among the things you can do right next door to Oak Flat Campground are hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
