North Fork Campground is a pretty wet place usually with a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month of the year is July. This campground is a stunning site to have a look at. Drift down the rapids of American River - North Fork in a kayak, and a journey to Tahoe National Forest revives the soul. There are some good whitewater spots on Fordyce Creek, and magnificent hiking is available along the Mumford Bar Trail. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada.
