Riding and hiking Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. The San Gabriel Mountains scenery is always gorgeous. Mount Gleason Campground is generally a reasonably dried up site; March is when you get the most rain here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Skiing at Mt Waterman is one of those things you just have to do, and Angeles National Forest is a great site to stretch your legs a bit. You absolutely must fancy the San Gabriel Mountains. You have to beyond doubt dedicate some time to Messenger Flats if you're here at Mount
Gleason Campground, and going for a hike on the Yerba Buena Trail is always a fine adventure. Man, is there loads of enjoyable stuff to do in the San Gabriel Mountains. Places like Verdugo Mountain Park are good to pop by, and a lake nearby is Big Tujunga Reservoir.
