| | There's such a large number of things to do right next door to Mormon Campground, and it is a glorious campground. Summertime at Mormon Campground comes with high temperatures in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mormon Campground sink into the 30's. This campground is a fine place to explore. There is a tremendous hiking trail in the vicinity of Mormon Campground called the Jackson Trail; when you're here it's always fun to pop by El Capitan State Beach.
| You completely must love the Sierra Madre. Going for a hike along the Potrero Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cuyama River.
If the weather is good here at Mormon Campground, you can go for a hike along the Hurricane Deck Trail; lots of people from Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta come here. Coming to this campground is always a fine idea.

Mormon Campground, and you obtain a perfect view of Bald Mountain from here. These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting stuff to do in the Sierra Madre. Refugio State Beach is a perfect place to stretch your legs a bit, and going for a hike on the Manzana Trail is always
a brilliant adventure.
If only every site had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. The Ranger Peak Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close to Mormon Campground, and a lake nearby is Zaca Lake. There's more to do close to Mormon Campground other
than just hanging out such as fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so probably you want to stay a while.
California is a glorious site for outdoors folks. Mormon Campground is pretty dried out frequently; February is the wettest month with most rain; July is the month with the least moisture.
