There is a delightful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Mine Campground called the McGuire Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Sespe Creek. Through the summertime months here at Mine Campground, high temperatures     mostly reach the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Mine Campground dip into the 30's. On a brilliant day at Mine Campground you can take a hike along the Deal Trail, and Carpinteria State Beach is a fine place to go. This campground is so beautiful. Go for a hike on the Chorro Grande Trail, and visiting Channel Islands National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Several folks select this campground when they come to go to Los Padres National Forest. Around Mine Campground you don’t get a lot of precipitation; through the month of February you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July. The perfect pick of local attractions, and the perfect   variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is hiking, and whitewater paddling, so possibly you want to stick around for a while. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Sierra Madre. Going for a hike on the Rancho Nuevo Trail is always a glorious adventure; a tour to Los Padres National Forest rejuvenates the spirit. With such a large number of things to do in California you'll never get bored. So much amusing stuff in the Sierra Madre, just striking. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Mine Campground. A great site near Mine Campground is Bear Canyon, and wonderful hiking is available along the Tinta Trail.
