Limekiln State Park is a wonderful location any time of year; hiking along the Girard Trail is tremendous fun.

in the Santa Lucia Range. Soar down the rapids of Arroyo Seco River in a kayak, and the North Coast Ridge Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by.
