Middle Creek Campground is       a very popular campground among campers from Markleeville. There's a magnificent 2,000-foot drop from top to bottom to take pleasure in at the close by ski resort Kirkwood. Kirkwood gets 42 feet of snow yearly, and has 15 lifts   serving the 65 slopes. Kirkwood is loved by skiers; it has 65% blue and green slopes and 35% advanced and expert slopes. A total of 2,300 acres of skiing area in all.
