Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Dawson Peak Trail, and if you're going to from Valyermo, you won't be the only one. This site, the San Gabriel Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Places like Ball Flat are great to go to, and a brilliant site like Saddleback Butte State Park is too tremendous to leave out. So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are tremendous |

This is such a fun place for a campground. While you're here at Mescal Campground you can take a hike along the Allison Trail, and splendid skiing awaits you at Mountain High. All through the summertime highs here at Mescal Campground get into the 90's. Once
| the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's; night lows during the winter for Mescal Campground tend to be in the 30's. There is a splendid hiking trail right next door to Mescal Campground called the Baldy Trail, and visiting Angeles National Forest is a brilliant thing to do.
