| Strawberry Peak is a peak you can catch a sight of from Meadowview Campground, and Meadowview Campground is not far at all from Long Barn. Really great skiing awaits you at Dodge Ridge; a fine location for whitewater paddling is Stanislaus River - Middle Fork. Calaveras Big Trees State Park is a pretty site any time of year, as expected you could also have a look at Pinecrest Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. through the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's; night lows at Meadowview Campground during the winter usually drop into the 30's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors
enjoyable stuff the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. Some nearby water includes Sheering Creek. If spending too much time inside got you down, Don't fret; Meadowview Campground is a great local campground if you happen to be in California. The high level of rain makes Meadowview Campground a quite wet spot; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is July.
