All year is a great time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you love the outdoors. If you're here, you might as well visit Poison Canyon, and you acquire a glorious panorama of Quartz Hill from here. the driest. This campground is a good place to take a look at. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - North Fork; there's great hiking along the Glacier Lakes Trail. There's a lot of outdoors recreation available around here such
| as fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Lots of fun is at this campground. Good hiking is available along the Canyon Creek Trail, and Malakoff Diggins State Park is worth a visit. Everybody loves Plumas-Eureka State Park, and naturally Toms Creek flows through this region. brings highs in the 90's to McMurray Campground, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows at McMurray Campground through the wintertime regularly plunge into the 20's. McMurray Campground is a very popular
old favorite campground among folks of Alleghany. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Whitewater paddling is nice on Yuba River - South Fork; there are plenty of folks from Alleghany here. Very glorious water scenery is available at Weaver
Dam in close proximity to McMurray Campground, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Bowman Mountain Trail. So many amusing things to do at McMurray Campground, so little time. The skiing at Soda Springs is nice. Just can't get enough of McMurray Campground.
Go for a hike on the Round Lake Trail; do visit McMurray Lake, it's a lovely lake. At last, camping time is here once more, and McMurray Campground in California is a good place to go. Quite a lot of entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of McMurray Campground, and it is a fun place for everybody.
