McMurray Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   This camp ground is one of the great spots to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike on the Canyon Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure; hey, Gotta ski right? Royal Gorge is a great location to do that. California is a glorious spot for campers. McMurray Campground is very well esteemed by the folks of Alleghany. So many enjoyable things next to McMurray Campground; it is a very glorious campground. From a rainfall point of view McMurray Campground is a rather typical place; January is the wettest month with most rain while     July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Scores of fun is at this campground. There are other spots here than McMurray Campground, for example Bowman Lake; get soaked paddling on Yuba River - South Fork. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Fordyce Creek, and nearby you come across the Round Lake Trail which is a fine hiking trail. There's so many things to do at McMurray Campground including whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing, so running out of exciting stuff to do won’t happen. Such a magnificent selection of attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back persistently. For the period of the summer months highs here at McMurray Campground get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly   in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for McMurray Campground tend to be in the 20's. You've gotta get out; McMurray Campground in California is exactly the spot. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is so good! Here at McMurray Campground you'll probably meet some folks from Alleghany; on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Bowman Mountain Trail. This campground has so unbelievably much. It's a good idea to have a look at Toms Creek, it's next to McMurray Campground; a tour to Plumas-Eureka State Park rejuvenates the spirit. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great earth it would be. The Crooked Lakes Trail is a glorious hiking trail right next door to McMurray Campground, and a pleasant place to stop at is Poison Canyon. Quartz Hill is clearly visible from McMurray Campground; Yuba River - North Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do close to McMurray Campground. Everybody loves Malakoff Diggins State Park. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. Go for a hike on the Glacier Lakes Trail; at Weaver Dam in the neighborhood of McMurray Campground there are some exciting things to see.
