McGuire Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   It's out of the question to run out of amusing stuff to do next to McGuire Campground; campgrounds like these are splendid. So many exciting things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just unbelievable. Little Duncan Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here, and get dripping wet paddling on Rubicon River. Finally, the time to go camping is here again; McGuire Campground in California is such a splendid spot. Camping in California is such an enjoyable thing to do. This campground is always a joy. Good hiking is available along the Tevis     Cup Trail, and while you're here, you might as well visit Little Duncan Canyon. Lakes are such calm locations, why not stop at French Meadows Reservoir near McGuire Campground, also L L Anderson Dam is worth visiting while you're here. The great variety of local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will definitely have you coming back again and again. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always delightful. All through the summer here at McGuire Campground, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the winter for McGuire Campground tend to be in the 30's. Man, is there heaps of fun things to do in close proximity to McGuire Campground. There is a perfect hiking trail   right next door to McGuire Campground called the Hunters Trail, and spots like Tahoe National Forest are glorious to take a look at. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Royal Gorge while you're here, and paddling on Yuba River - South Fork is so much fun. Going for a hike on the Sailor Flat Trail is always a good adventure; you'll meet a lot of people from Truckee-Grass Valley here. And that's not all the things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There are delightful places to explore along the Parsley Bar Trail, and float down the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork in a kayak. McGuire Campground sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great earth it would be. This is such a delightful campground. Eldorado National Forest is a good site to take a look at; you can go for a hike on the Rubicon Trail.
