If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Southern Cascade Range. The Nelson Flat Trail offers hiking at its best, and a pleasant visit to Samwell Cave is a great way to spend an afternoon. Glide down the rapids of McCloud River in a kayak; Shasta National Forest is a fine place to stretch your legs a bit.
This section of California has a perfect deal of outdoors activities at your disposal. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is bountiful here in the Southern Cascade Range. There are other locations here than McCloud Bridge Campground, for example Mirror Lake; there are nice places to discover along the Crags Trail.
