Maple Campground, Sierra Madre, California   There's such a large number of things to do at Maple Campground including hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. There are so many fun things in the neighborhood of Maple Campground, and to be at this place is always fun. Everybody needs to go for a weekend of camping every now and then, and Maple Campground in California is a really good location to spend some time. Throughout the summer months here at Maple Campground, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. This camp ground is one of the magnificent spots to camp here in the Sierra Madre. Channel Islands National Park is a very fine site to stop at close to Maple Campground, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Chorro Grande Trail. Not much precipitation falls here at Maple Campground; most of the rain falls through February while July is regularly the driest month. California has so much to offer nature lovers. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great world it would be. Going to Los Padres National Forest next to Maple Campground is a glorious thing to do, and nearby you locate the McGuire Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
