Mammoth Mountain is a very popular ski area close by; hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Rock Creek Campground; Sherwin Lakes Trail is a perfect local trail. The beautiful marina of Lake Sabrina Boat Landing is a nice site to leave dry land behind. Looking for a nice spree? Devils Postpile National Monument is rather right next door to Lower Rock Creek Campground.
