This camp ground is one of the great places to camp here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Lower Pines Campground sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest. You might want to pay a visit to Tenaya Canyon if you're here at Lower Pines Campground, and you can run the rapids of Tenaya Creek. Merced River is a fine whitewater spot right next door to Lower Pines Campground; nearby you hit upon the Buena Vista Trail which is a nice hiking trail. nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lower Pines Campground temperatures drop to the 20's. The perfect variety of local attractions and such an incredible array of things to do
will make you delighted you came. So much amusing stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada, just unbelievable. Sierra National Forest is a wonderful location to check out on a pretty day; you need to stop at Glacier Point while you're here. If you come to this campground, you will
have a fine time for sure. On a great day at Lower Pines Campground you can take a hike along the North Dome Trail, and if the weather is beautiful, you obtain a tremendous view of Moran Point from Lower Pines Campground. Don’t forget to explore Stoneman Meadow if you're here
at Lower Pines Campground, and the Panorama Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. This campground has everything. While you're here at Lower Pines Campground you can take a hike along the Four Mile Trail, and if you want to go to some exciting stuff, go to Royal Arches.
Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Lower Pines Campground. Tenaya Creek flows through this region. We all ought to go camping once in a while, and Lower Pines Campground is a glorious local campground if you happen to be in California.
You can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Badger Pass, and Yosemite National Park is a tremendous local destination.
