Lower Campground, California   Many people pick this campground during their visit to Samuel P. Taylor State Park. Lower Campground is fantastically well esteemed by the people of Lagunitas. At Lower Campground during the summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Not far from Lower Campground, you'll discover Hagmaier Pond South which is a picturesque lake; the views at Point Reyes   National Seashore will blow your mind. This campground has so many exciting things to offer. On a delightful day you can have a look at Wildcat Beach near Lower Campground, and don't leave Lower Campground without first going for a hike along the Lake Ranch Trail. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Lower Campground has it all. Samuel P. Taylor State Park is a pretty place any time of year, and the summit of Barnabe Mountain can be spotted from Lower Campground. If you come to this campground, you will have a good time for sure. There's magnificent hiking along the Greenpicker Trail, and why not take a little spree to Devils Gulch Creek if you're here. Palomarin Beach is right next door to Lower Campground and is a stunning beach to go to, and stopping by Muir Woods National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. While stopping by this area in California it's a good idea to go camping too. Lower Campground is located in a region with loads of entertaining stuff to do, and campgrounds like these are good. Lower Campground is a pretty wet place mostly with a good deal of rain; all through January this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is July.
