Getting to this primitive campground can be somewhat demanding, but it's well worth it. This primitive campground is situated in a very beautiful setting, and you may experience the wilderness at its greatest at primtive campgrounds such as Lower Bear River Campground. This camp ground is to be found in the picturesque Northern Sierra Nevada.
There is so much enjoyable stuff close to
 Lower Bear River Campground; it's always fun being here. The Close to Bear River to Tiger Creek Afterbay portion, a whitewater sweep on Mokelumne River - North Fork is 14.8 miles from start to finish. This close by sweep of whitewater is a type III-V. This sweep of Mokelumne River - North Fork is suitable for raft paddlers who have been kayak paddling for some time. Always check circumstances in advance of a trip kayak paddling as kayak paddling is a hazardous pursuit. When you're here at Lower Bear River Campground it's always fun to check out Eldorado National Forest, needless to say you could also visit Salt Springs Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. These mountains rock,  
just check out all the exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Little Bear River is a delightful local stream, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Bear River Campground; Windmiller Trail is a fine local trail.
