  Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Sierra Madre is so good! You'll meet a lot of folks from Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta here, and the The Caracole offers hiking at its best. Carpinteria State Beach is a lovely location any time of year, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Bear Campground; Mission Pine Trail is a magnificent local trail.
All the fine local attractions close by and such a fine variety of outdoors recreation are tremendous reasons to come.
The surroundings of this campground have so much stuff to offer.
    A charming lake like Gibraltar Reservoir next to Lower Bear Campground is a wonderful place to explore, and magnificent hiking is available along the Grapevine Trail. Be careful coming to Lower Bear Campground, you might not ever wanna go home again. Los Padres National Forest
is a nice location to go to, and don't leave Lower Bear Campground without first going for a hike along the Alamar Trail. At Lower Bear Campground you can make out Big Pine Mountain, and there's perfect hiking along the Alamar Hill Trail.
Lower Bear Campground is a location that is pretty waterless commonly; most of the rain falls throughout February while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This camp ground is one of the delightful sites to camp here in the Sierra Madre. So much cool stuff in close proximity to Lower Bear Campground; it is a pleasant campground.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the Sierra Madre has to offer. This segment of California is always a delight to take a look at through camping season.
For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs usually are in the 90's at Lower Bear Campground. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Lower Bear Campground.
