| | Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Sierra Madre is so good! You'll meet a lot of folks from Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta here, and the The Caracole offers hiking at its best. Carpinteria State Beach is a lovely location any time of year, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Bear Campground; Mission Pine Trail is a magnificent local trail. All the fine local attractions close by and such a fine variety of outdoors recreation are tremendous reasons to come. The surroundings of this campground have so much stuff to offer. |

A charming lake like Gibraltar Reservoir next to Lower Bear Campground is a wonderful place to explore, and magnificent hiking is available along the Grapevine Trail. Be careful coming to Lower Bear Campground, you might not ever wanna go home again. Los Padres National Forest
