Lost Valley Campground, Sierra Madre, California

  Lost Valley Campground is one of the places to camp here in the Sierra Madre. If you come to this campground, you will have a great time for sure. If you come at the right time of year, Cuyama River offers some wonderful whitewater, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Hurricane Deck Trail. Some of the water nearby flows, like East Fork Fish Creek; Refugio State Beach is a tremendous place to go.

Having a tremendous time in the Sierra Madre is trouble-free. There's nice hiking along the Potrero Canyon Trail, and you might also want to pay a visit to White Rock Canyon since you're here at Lost Valley Campground. A journey to El Capitan State Beach rejuvenates the soul; hiking is
 
a popular thing to do around Lost Valley Campground; Ranger Peak Trail is a nice local trail.
If only every site had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. If you're going to Lost Valley Campground from Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta, you won't be the only one, and do take a hike on the Manzana Trail. At Lost Valley Campground you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is typically February, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is July.
During the warm days of summer at Lost Valley Campground temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lost Valley Campground descend into the 30's.
