by the Agua Blanca Trail; since you're here, you might as well have a look at Lower Hungry Valley. Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do in the Sierra Madre. Gorman Creek is a magnificent local stream, and glide down the rapids of Sespe Creek in a kayak. The nice local attractions
and so much to do are wonderful reasons to come.
Los Alamos Campground is a location that is relatively waterless regularly; the month with most of the rain is February; July on the other hand is the driest. A trip to Fort Tejon State Park when you're here at Los Alamos Campground
is never a bad idea, and the White Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best.
There's lots of outdoors recreation available in close proximity such as hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so running out of enjoyable stuff to do won’t happen. High temperatures
at Los Alamos Campground all through the days of summer are in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Los Alamos Campground tend to be in the 30's.
