Los Alamos Campground, Sierra Madre, California   I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Los Alamos Campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sespe Creek; since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Lebec. The Sierra Madre scenery is always beautiful. If you love the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so it's just not possible to get bored. This is such a fun spot for a campground. A visit to Fort Tejon State Park when you're here at Los Alamos Campground is a splendid idea, and since you're here     you can take a hike along the Bailey Trail. A number of folks select Los Alamos Campground to be near Hungry Valley State Park. The fine local attractions and the fine variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. Los Alamos Campground is a very popular campground among folks of Lebec. And that's not all the things to do here in the Sierra Madre. On a wonderful day at Los Alamos Campground you can take a hike along the Snowy Creek Trail; a delightful lake like Pyramid Lake is a great location to have a look at. Not much rainfall falls here at Los Alamos Campground; of all the months in a year February is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. At Los Alamos Campground cool stuff to do is bountiful, and when you're here you're always having a delightful time. This part of California   is always a joy to go to during camping season. Getting to Gorman Creek from Los Alamos Campground is painless; Lower Hungry Valley is another great location to take a look at close by. Get soaked paddling on Piru Creek, and going for a hike on the Henderson Trail is always a good adventure. This campground is a beautiful spot to stop at. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Piru Creek, and the White Mountain Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. So much entertaining stuff in the Sierra Madre, just extraordinary. If time allows, Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a national park worth visiting; nearby you hit upon the Agua Blanca Trail which is a great hiking trail. A brilliant site like Hungry Valley State Park in the neighborhood of Los Alamos Campground is too wonderful to leave out. At Los Alamos Campground all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Los Alamos Campground.
