Lockwood Campground, Sierra Madre, California   A visit to California is not complete without some camping. Don't leave Lockwood Campground without stopping by Hungry Valley State Park, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Henderson Trail. Lockwood Campground gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is February, and the driest of the months is July. Get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Piru Creek, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Reed Reef Trail.
