Lions Den Campground, Santa Lucia Range, California   Lions Den Campground is a glorious camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Santa Lucia Range. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Lions Den Campground; January is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. Limekiln State Park is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit; if the weather is lovely, you obtain a nice view of Lion Peak from Lions Den Campground. If the weather is fine here at Lions Den Campground, you can go for a hike along   the Arroyo Seco Trail, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Antonio. If you love the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's totally impossible to get bored. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Santa Lucia Range. So many local attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation will unquestionably have you coming back repeatedly. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lions Den Campground with night lows in the 50's.
