While you're here at Leavitt Meadows Campground you will meet lots of people from close by Coleville; on a great day you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12. It is very arid here at Leavitt Meadows Campground usually; January is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. great on West Walker River, and Dodge Ridge is a splendid local ski area. So many fun things to do here at Leavitt Meadows Campground, too splendid to be true. Going for a hike along the Corral Valley Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; you beyond doubt
should check out Stanislaus National Forest while you're here. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Silver King Trail, and a spree to Echo Canyon State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. This is such a great campground. Lakes are delightful; Poore Lake is a lake that's
in the neighborhood of Leavitt Meadows Campground, and do take a hike on the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail. There's such an incredible array of things to do at Leavitt Meadows Campground including hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so probably you want to stay a while. The nice local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are fine reasons to come.
