Lava Campground, Southern Cascade Range, California

  Summer at Lava Campground comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lava Campground. Lava Campground gets very little rain; during the month of December you get the most snow around here; July is the month with the least moisture.
While going to this area in California it's a good idea to go for a weekend of camping too. If you haven’t been to Lava Beds National Monument,
    you ought to schedule some time for it since you're here; Pit River is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. Lava Campground is a nice camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Southern Cascade Range.
This is in fact a magnificent campground.
Lava Campground is to
be found in a neighborhood with a lot of fun stuff to do, and it is one of a lot of good campgrounds in this area. That right there is a lot of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all. Don't leave Lava Campground without popping by Ahjumawi Lava Springs State Park, and a trip here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to close by Modoc National Forest.
So many local attractions and the tremendous variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back time and again.
