There are plenty of people from Georgetown here at Lake Walton Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Green Valley Trail. California is a perfect location for outdoors folks. And if that's not enough there's a load more enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A tour to Marshall Gold Discovery State Park when you're here at Lake Walton Campground is a fine idea, and naturally,
    A spree to Gas Canyon is always fun.
Lake Walton Campground gets a large amount of water; the month with most of the rain is January; the driest month of the year is July. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. You can run the rapids of American River - Middle
Fork in the vicinity of Lake Walton Campground, and the Bake Oven Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Lake Walton Campground while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Lake Walton Campground.
This campground is so delightful. If you get bored of Lake Walton Campground, you could also pop by close by Oxbow Reservoir, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Euchre Bar Trail.

A visit to Auburn State Park when you're here at Lake Walton Campground is never a bad idea, and there's pleasant hiking along the Nevada Point Trail.
So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are great incentives to come. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the fun stuff you can do is hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so running out of cool things to do won’t happen.
So much amusing stuff close to Lake Walton Campground, and to be at this place is always fun. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A nice place for whitewater paddling close to Lake Walton Campground is American River - South Fork, and do take a hike on the Pigeon Roost Trail.
