| | You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Kiva Beach Campground. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Heavenly; no need to travel far to visit interesting stuff like Tallac Point. This camp ground is one of the great spots to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.

you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork, and you can go for a hike on the General Creek Trail.
Kiva Beach Campground gets a normal amount of yearly rain; through January this area sees the most snow, and July is the
| month with the least moisture. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more fun things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike on the Hawley Grade Trail is always a tremendous adventure; a wonderful beach nearby is Pope Beach. During the warm days of summer here at Kiva Beach Campground, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's, and the night is rather colder of course, generally in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Kiva Beach Campground are in the 10's.

a good pick of attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. And if that's not enough there's lots more exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Sawmill Core is around here and always good to take a look at, and do stop at Fallen
Leaf Lake, it's a stunning lake. Silver Creek - South Fork is a splendid whitewater spot near Kiva Beach Campground, and the top of Tahoe Mountain is easily observed from Kiva Beach Campground.
Scores of fun is at this campground. At Fallen Leaf Dam close to Kiva Beach Campground
there are some exciting things to see, and glorious hiking is available along the Red Peak Trail. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is so good! You can run the rapids of American River - South Fork near Kiva Beach Campground, and dropping
by Washoe Meadows State Park is a great thing to do.
While you're here at Kiva Beach Campground you can play some golf at Lake Tahoe Golf Course, and why not take a little trip to Taylor Creek while you're here. This campground is a great spot to explore. A fine spot like Emerald
Bay State Park in close proximity to Kiva Beach Campground is too perfect to leave out, and there are great sites to discover along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14.
Kiva Beach Campground is an old favorite with visitors from Echo Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Echo
Lake here, and Kiva Beach is a beach close by that you can have a look at. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air; Kiva Beach Campground is a wonderful local campground if you happen to be in California.
Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Hiking is a popular
thing to do around Kiva Beach Campground; Highland Trail is a great local trail; enjoy a round of golf at Tahoe Paradise Golf Course. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the cool stuff you can do is fishing, swimming, playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen.
