If you come at the right time of year, Arroyo Seco River offers some delightful whitewater; let's not forget Kirk Creek which is a stream that you may encounter while here.
This location is great, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Kirk Creek Campground. There's delightful hiking along the Summit Trail, and get wet paddling on San Antonio.

Throughout the warm months highs here at Kirk Creek Campground get into the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Kirk Creek Campground are in the 40's. With such an incredible array of things to do in California you'll never get bored.
