Junction Campground, Central Sierra Nevada, California   Junction Campground is one of the spots to camp here in the Central Sierra Nevada. There is so much amusing stuff in the vicinity of Junction Campground, and spending time at this campground is enormously fun. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. Mine Creek is a great   site to take a look at, and a perfect spot for whitewater paddling is San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. Some activities here at Junction Campground are whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, and swimming, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. The tremendous variety of local attractions and such a tremendous variety of outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back many times. All the outdoors cool things in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back again and again. A trip to Bodie State Park when you're here at Junction Campground is a splendid idea, and do take a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 1. This is in fact a magnificent campground. Near Junction Campground you hit upon Glacier Canyon which is a pleasant location to stop at, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Junction Campground; John Muir Trail - section 2 is a magnificent local trail. What a location this is for outdoors people. A gorgeous lake like Gardisky Lake near Junction Campground is a good spot to stop at; nice hiking is available along the Gaylor Lakes Trail.
