Jones Valley Campground, Southern Cascade Range, California Custom Search   The temperature is in the triple digits most of the summer.  Although this is a fine campsite it is 45 minutes to an hour from most of these other attractions.  Just a word of advice from someone who lives there a is a frequent visitor of Jones Valley. After you arrive at this primitive campground you'll realize it was well worth the effort getting here. Amenities and facilities are few in primitive campgrounds like Jones Valley Campground. Quite a lot of amusing stuff to do close to Jones Valley       Campground, and camping is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a nice site to do that. California is a nice site for campers. The 3.7-mile-from-beginning-to-end Dry Creek Trail is a pretty wilderness trail with a tremendous   188-foot height difference. Head out on the stunning water at Marina RV Park, and the views at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area will blow your mind. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Southern Cascade Range. If you're trying to find a marina, Silverthorn Resort-Marina is close at hand.
