It's just not possible to run out of fun things to do right next door to Jones Valley Campground;   it certainly is a great campground. You've got to get out of the house, and Jones Valley Campground is a great local campground if you happen to be in California. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is one of the destinations close to Jones Valley Campground that are magnificent to go to, and get wet paddling on McCloud River. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Southern Cascade Range is so good! Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bear Creek. California is a great spot for campers.
