is very well esteemed by folks of Trinity Center. This camp ground is one of the great places to camp here in the Klamath Mountains. What a place this is for outdoors people. A spree to Shasta National Forest revives the spirit, and you can go for a hike on the Echo Lake Trail.
The great local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back over and over. Weaverville Joss House State Park is a delightful site to go if you're at Jackass Spring Campground, and there are some great whitewater spots on Clear
Creek Sacramento Tributary. Around Jackass Spring Campground you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest month of the year is July. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. Don't leave Jackass Spring Campground without first going for a hike along the Dry Creek Trail; Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a great national park.
