Indian Springs Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California Custom Search   Indian Springs Campground is located inside Tahoe National Forest. It is at an elevation of 5,600 feet, and is near HWY I-80. The campground has 34 campsites and is very popular. Vault toilets and water are available. Campers can enjoy backpacking, day hiking, plants and nature viewing, fishing and swimming while here. It is very important to note that during the summer season, water can be very high and swift. My friend died this Saturday       after jumping from the cliffs above the pool. There were no signs posted. Please warn anyone that it is very dangerous. You could experience nature at its finest at primtive campgrounds like Indian Springs Campground. This primitive campground is situated in an extraordinarily pretty location, and naturally it may be challenging to get to a primitive campground such as this one, but it's worth the effort. If you are in California during camping season, you must go camping. Indian Springs Campground is one of the places to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.       There are so many amusing things close to Indian Springs Campground; when you're here you're always having a tremendous time. As if Indian Springs Campground wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, and   swimming, so you won’t get bored. Indian Springs Campground is prized by visitors from Emigrant Gap. The delightful variety of local attractions and the delightful variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came.
