As if Horse Trail Campground wasn't enough, you can also go swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do. Don't leave Horse Trail Campground without first going for a hike along the Warm Springs Trail, and Hungry Valley State Park is a tremendous site to go. At Horse Trail Campground enjoyable stuff to do is bountiful, and when you have had the opportunity to enjoy this campground you will feel like a whole new person. There is a nice hiking trail close to Horse Trail     Campground called the Gillette Mine Trail; a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Piru Creek. The top of Liebre Mountain is easily observed from Horse Trail Campground; probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Gookins Dry Lake is just a very short distance away. This campground is so brilliant. Piru Creek is a good whitewater spot near Horse Trail Campground, and great hiking is available along the Warm Springs Necktie Trail. High temperatures at Horse Trail Campground during the warmest time of the year are in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 50's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Horse Trail Campground temperatures sink to the 30's. There are brilliant sites to explore along the Burnt Peak Trail;   since you're here why not stop by Robinson Canyon. The tremendous local attractions and such a tremendous variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back persistently. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Going for a hike on the Fish Canyon Trail is always a great adventure, and Castaic Lake State Park is worth visiting. Horse Trail Campground is frequently a rather waterless place; through the month of February you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July.
