Hollister Campground, Sierra Madre, California   A lot of people stay here in order to be in the vicinity of Hungry Valley State Park. The splendid local attractions and the splendid variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back many times. There is a tremendous hiking trail in close proximity to Hollister Campground called the White Mountain Trail, and Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a fine national park. Hollister Campground is pretty dried up mostly; of all the months in a year February is the one with the most rain, and July   is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to the Sierra Madre, you might not ever want to return back home again. Hollister Campground is a location with many visitors from Piru; Hungry Valley State Park is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Hollister Campground. Devils Potrero is right here at Hollister Campground, and you can run the rapids of Piru Creek. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hollister Campground. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Hollister Campground are in the 30's. This is such a delightful campground. Devils Gateway is in the vicinity of Hollister Campground and is definitely a perfect spot to stop at; some close by water includes Lacosca Creek. Going for a hike on the Bucksnort Trail is always a wonderful adventure. The Sierra Madre scenery is always delightful. Hollister Campground is esteemed by people from Piru. Sespe Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot near Hollister Campground, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Agua Blanca Trail.
