There is so much amusing stuff right next door to Hollister Campground, and it is a great campground. This campground is so delightful. The Pothole Trail is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Hollister Campground, and a pleasant trip to Devils Potrero is a nice way to spend an afternoon. Go for a hike on the Bucksnort Trail, and a striking lake like Pyramid Lake is a tremendous place to check out. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Sierra Madre, too fine to be true. If you're popping by Hollister Campground from Piru, you won't be the only one, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Piru Creek. Several people stay at Hollister Campground to be close to Hungry Valley State Park. A campground like this is too delightful to miss. Hungry Valley State Park is both great and pretty, and it's near Hollister Campground, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Agua Blanca Trail. So many local attractions and so much stuff to do are certain to keep you coming back many times. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Hollister Campground has to offer. Hollister Campground is near Castaic Lake State Park which is a delightful spot, and soar down the rapids of Piru Creek in a kayak.
