Hobo Campground, Southern Sierra Nevada, California

| | I camped here about 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. I did not do any white water rafting but I did do some hiking around the campground which was quite nice. Camp sites were clean and far enough apart to have decent privacy. Says Camper_01
There's plenty of outdoors recreation available in close proximity such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's impossible to get bored. So many local attractions and such a great deal of things to do will make you pleased you came. Summertime highs at Hobo Campground regularly tend to be in the 90's. |
When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 50's while Hobo Campground nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.
There's so many things to do in close proximity to Hobo Campground;
| it certainly is a great campground. Going for a weekend of camping here in California is something you have to do.
Man, is there a heap of amusing stuff to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. There are some nice whitewater spots on Kern River, and Sequoia National Forest is a pleasant spot to go. This campground is so glorious. Have a good hiking adventure along the Cannell Meadow Trail, and don't forget to take a wonderful little spree to Clear Creek. So many amusing things to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada, too splendid to be true. There are plenty of folks from Bodfish here at Hobo Campground; hiking along the Bull Run Cattle Drive is perfect fun. Take a hike on the Virginia Trail; Shirley Meadow
is a great local ski area.
A campground like this is too glorious to miss. Black Gulch is a fine location to spend some time at. Hobo Campground is one of the places to camp here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. The sight of wonderful Hooper Hill near Hobo Campground is great,
and while you're here you can take a hike along the Tobias Creek Trail.
Hobo Campground is a top choice campground with people of Bodfish. Just can't get enough of Hobo Campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kern River, and going for a hike along the Old Sled Trail will
let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
Around Hobo Campground you don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
