| | I camped here about 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. I did not do any white water rafting but I did do some hiking around the campground which was quite nice. Camp sites were clean and far enough apart to have decent privacy. Says Camper_01

there are plenty of people from Bodfish; hiking is a popular thing to do around Hobo Campground; Virginia Trail is a brilliant local trail.
The nice pick of local attractions, and the close by outdoors recreation are nice causes to come. This is such a great campground. Going
| for a hike along the Tobias Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a visit here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Sequoia National Forest.
This is such a striking campground. Head up to Shirley Meadow and strap some skis to your feet.
Around Hobo Campground you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the rain falls through January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. For the duration of the months of summer at Hobo Campground temperatures are commonly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. | |

Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is bountiful here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Black Gulch is a splendid location to explore,
and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kern River. Quite a lot of enjoyable things to do close to Hobo Campground, and it's one of those spots where everything is magnificent. Have a great hiking adventure along the
Old Sled Trail, and do take a hike on the Cannell Meadow Trail.
If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Southern Sierra Nevada. Kern River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bull Run Cattle
Drive. It's impossible to get bored in California if you adore the outdoors.
There's heaps of outdoors recreation available close at hand such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
