| Sierra Nevada. As if Hetch Hetchy Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so it's impossible to get bored. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Lakes? Sure, Hetch Hetchy Reservoir is close by, and why not take a little spree to Falls Creek since you're here. This is such a brilliant campground. Take a hike on the Pohono Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Cherry Creek - West Fork offers some brilliant whitewater. The scenery at O'Shaughnessy Dam right next door to Hetch Hetchy Campground is lovely, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Groveland here. Be careful coming to Hetch Hetchy Campground, you might not ever want to go back home again. Why not take a refreshing hike along
