Loads of folks stay at this campground for the purpose of being near Eldorado National Forest. Among the things you can do in the vicinity of Hell Hole Campground are fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. At Hell Hole Campground all through the summertime highs are in the 80's.   Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Hell Hole Campground plunge into the 20's. California is a magnificent outdoors state. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. When you're here at Hell Hole Campground it's always fun to have a look at Tahoe National Forest; if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the South Fork Trail. A tour to Big Meadow revitalizes the spirit, and Hell Hole Campground is not the only place close by, Hell Hole Reservoir is a close by lake. While you're here at Hell Hole Campground you will meet lots of folks from nearby Truckee-Grass Valley, and whitewater paddling is great on Rubicon River.
