Haypress Campground gets a common amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is January; July is when it's the driest. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Royal Gorge is in the vicinity of Haypress Campground, and don't leave Haypress Campground without first going for a hike along the Bowman Mountain Trail.
