  When was the last occasion you went camping for a couple of days? Hawkins Landing Campground, California is a good site for getting out. As if Hawkins Landing Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Hawkins Landing Campground is a wet place that gets a large amount of rain; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is typically the driest month.
It's just not possible to run out of amusing things to do right next door to Hawkins Landing
    Campground; it is a good campground.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Pit River, and a tour to McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Hawkins Landing Campground is a campground relatively
frequently visited by the people of Big Bend. If you come to this campground, you will have a brilliant time for sure. There are some great whitewater spots on McCloud River; while you're here you can take a hike along the Angel Meadow Trail.
So many local attractions and the fine variety of outdoors recreation are good reasons to come. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Cone Point Trail.
Yeah, come up here to the Southern Cascade Range for a delightful time. If you come at the right time of year, Pit River offers some wonderful whitewater,
 
and do take a hike on the Nelson Flat Trail. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Hawkins Landing Campground. From Hawkins Landing Campground you obtain a perfect sight of Oak Mountain; do set aside some time for Smith Flat since you're here at Hawkins Landing Campground. This campground has so incredibly much. Castle Crags State Park is a good site to have a look at on a lovely day; if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Rough and Ready Trail.
Deadlun Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth visiting, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 17. Be careful coming to the Southern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. People from Big Bend love to come to Hawkins Landing Campground; the slopes of Mount Shasta are so inviting nobody can resist. This camp ground is to be found in the pretty Southern Cascade Range.
Summertime at Hawkins Landing Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Hawkins Landing Campground. This section of California is always a bliss to stop by all through camping season.
