There are so many amusing things to do near Hanging Valley Campground, and you always have a good time when you're here. You've got to get out of the house, and Hanging Valley Campground is a good local campground if you happen to be in California. Coming to this campground is always a pleasant idea. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Summit Trail, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Arroyo Seco River.

is right by the Horse Pasture Trail, naturally you could also stop by The Lakes since you're here; it's not far at all. Hanging Valley Campground gets a typical amount of yearly rain; January is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest.

| is so picturesque. Getting to Lost Valley Creek from Hanging Valley Campground is uncomplicated.
Some people stay at Hanging Valley Campground for the purpose of being close to Limekiln State Park. You're sure to run into some wonderful people from Salinas here; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Arroyo Seco River.

This site, the Santa Lucia Range, has so much outdoors entertaining things. There's tremendous hiking along the Marble Peak Trail; a great place
for whitewater paddling is San Antonio. Some activities here at Hanging Valley Campground are hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so it's totally impossible to get bored. Through the long summer days at Hanging Valley Campground temperatures are mostly in the 70's,
and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while Hanging Valley Campground nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 40's.
The magnificent choice of local attractions, and the magnificent
variety of outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back repeatedly. This camp ground is one of the great places to camp here in the Santa Lucia Range.
