Man, is there plenty of cool stuff to do in close proximity to Hanging Valley Campground. Whitewater paddling is great on San Antonio, and Limekiln State Park is a pleasant site to stretch your legs a bit. This is such a perfect campground. Going for a hike on the Marble Peak Trail is always a nice adventure. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so it's totally impossible to get bored. California is a fine outdoors state. |

get enough of the Santa Lucia Range. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arroyo Seco River; pleasant hiking is available along the Summit Trail. Getting to Lost Valley Creek from Hanging Valley Campground is painless;
you can go for a hike on the Arroyo Seco Trail. And that's not all you can do here in the Santa Lucia Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hanging Valley Campground; Horse Pasture Trail is a good local trail, and The Lakes is a nearby lake that you could have a look at.
All the nice local attractions in the vicinity and such a nice variety of outdoors recreation are tremendous reasons to come. A number of people stay here to be next to Limekiln State Park.
