Greys Mountain Campground is inside Sierra National Forest at an elevation of 5,400 feet. The campground opens in May and is very popular. It is on a first-come, first-served basis. Each campsite comes with a picnic table and a fire ring. Vault toilets are also available.

I have been camping at greys mountain for abuot 10 years now. Long before they started chargine. Greys is the best place to camp. From fishing off the bridge or creek or playing in the meadows there is always something to do. Oh and if ya follow the trail through camp that leads to the great meadow you will come tto another narrow trail follow it a bit further and you will find the waterfall swimming holes
 
    and the silver cape for the younger ones who need more calm shallow water. Hope you all have fun up there! Says Shannon Thornton

Some folks camp here all through their journey to Yosemite National Park.
