Greens Creek Campground, Southern Cascade Range, California Custom Search   The water was high this year (July 2011) so the distance between campsites and water wasn't an issue. Campsite 7 has a nice cold stream running next to it that can serve as a refrigerator for your drinks. The bathroom is near campsite 4, which means campsite 7 has a lengthy walk. Campsite 6 & 7 can hold (qty 2) medium sized tents. We don't have experience at campsites 1-5. Be aware of the BEARS. They will come into your campsite at night       and it can be a bit scarey. They want your food. Yes, the campsites provide bear boxes, but we couldn't fit all that we had in them so we strapped ice chests to the tables. Air horns will scare them off. They make this amazing chuffing   sound at night that can spook you. It's both a scarey and exciting experience my family will never forget.
