Granite Creek Campground, Central Sierra Nevada, California

  There's so much to do near Granite Creek Campground, and camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a fine location to do that. High temperatures at Granite Creek Campground during the warmest time of the year are in the 90's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Granite Creek Campground.

Granite Creek Campground is right
    by the John Muir Trail - section 2, and some of the water close by flows, like East Fork Granite Creek. So many amusing things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit San Joaquin River - Middle Fork; nearby you hit upon glorious places
like The Niche.
As if Granite Creek Campground wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so you won’t get bored. This spot, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors cool things. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Cora Lakes, and Green Mountain can be distinguished from Granite Creek Campground. Everybody nearby loves skiing at June Mountain; if you come at the right time of year, San Joaquin River offers some wonderful whitewater.

will always have a perfect time. Going to Sierra National Forest close to Granite Creek Campground is a great thing to do, and Soldier Meadow is a nice place here at Granite Creek Campground. Granite Creek Campground is a pleasant camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Central Sierra Nevada. With so much to do in California you'll never get bored.
That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Granite Creek Campground has it all. Take a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 1, and Yosemite National Park is a splendid site close by. So many local attractions and so much stuff to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back repeatedly. Scores of people stay at this campground when going to Sierra National Forest.
Granite Creek Campground gets a common amount of rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain; August on the other hand is the driest.
