This is such a fun location for a campground. Hiking along the Mammoth Rock Trail is good fun, and Bodie State Park is a delightful spot. This campground is a pretty location to visit. Whitewater paddling is great on San Joaquin River - South Fork, and Devils Postpile National Monument is a magnificent national park.
